Home and Garden: Angela Adams Rugs
Portland, Maine is home to rug designer Angela Adams, who is known for her high end collection of rugs that take inspiration from nature. Her three-dimensional sheared wool rugs look like topographical representations of moss-covered forest floors, underground soil and root systems, ocean floors, and sand dunes. With prices ranging from just over $500 to a whopping $35,000 for the largest and most intricate design (10 feet by 12 feet), most of these rugs are out of our price range. Even though we can’t afford to buy one, we think they are still worth admiring for their attention to detail and creativity:

One of the coolest and most intricate designs we came across is the Forest Floor rug, depicting a moss and plant covered forest floor.
Although it may be difficult to see in the photos, this is a three dimensional textured rug that literally stands out. This would be amazing in a child’s forest-themed bedroom:
